Cargo Covers including Live Transits (optional coverage)

The standard cargo perils are:

  • Accidental loss or damage
  • Theft
  • Discharge of cargo at a port of distress, General Average and Salvage

Cargo and rejection insurance

As part of our services Aquarius are able to offer clients Cargo and Rejection insurance

  • Cargo insurance covers physical loss or damage to cargo including loss as a result of 12 hour breakdown of refrigeration machinery or alternativly if required the result of a 24 hour breakdown of refrigeration machinery
  • Rejection insurance covers cargo for the risk of rejection or condemnation by the government of the country of import or their agencies or departments during the period of insurance. Rejection insurance can only be provided with cargo cover.
